Death and Transfiguration

"Ich bin kurz vor sechs am Montag den 03.09. in den Bus 249, Haltestelle : Kirchstr. eingestiegen und dein lächeln geht mir seit dem nicht mehr aus dem Kopf."

A new Illustration for "Augenblick" in our blog "Unter den Linien"

Mirror

The day he discovered his self crying in front of the mirror,
was the most terrorizing of his -still- short life.

Hearts are blowing

Design doodles for fabric print.

like -sometimes- is mine ^

This was a first stage idea. But in coming post I will show you the new ones.

"The Big Draw Berlin"

Yes, now in Berlin arrives "THE BIG DRAW BERLIN", this weekend (from 12 to 14 October)

Salom Beaury and I are giving a workshop " Stadträume" (city spaces),  Sunday 14 from 11.00 to 15.00 h, at Gemaldegalerie in Matthäkirche Platz (near Postdamer Platz).

If you are in Berlin, dont hesitate, take your pencils and come, we hope to see you all there!

Freedom books

This is an illustration that I drew years ago for a competition in France,
with the motto  "Livres en Liberté". I hope you like it!

Late summer burst

It is not a bunch of grapes, no more.

It is not a delicate pineapple, which likes cold.

But a lemonade colored flower, like a paper lamp,

growing up along the path.

You guess what is it? It is hop! berliner hop.

It is bursting right now, decorating the green walls, and announcing berliner beer.

Little Faces IV

A portrait from my cute nephew.

You can also command me a portrait from any person you wish.
I just need at least two photos and I will try to do my best.

"Frühling" again

Strauss : Frühling ( from : Last Songs) - Elisabeth Schwarzkopf / Szell*

No!

Burst out of panic, when I realized I was stolen!

How can this kind of people do that? how awful is it.

Frühling

Today all the clouds wear identical hair

Little Faces III

Little Faces II

Little Faces I

I am doing a personal research, and this is my first attempt.

SUSPEND

look at him: he sleeps so deep.

He went out, and now he dreams...

I don´t know what he drank, but I am sure,

it was not orange juice.

"Unter den Linien"

Is the name our new Blog, you can visit  it hier, we hope you enjoy it!

REFRESH

No one in the City - it burns!

no one in the sand -  it burns too.

Only in the water can one here survey!

It was this kind of summer day, where everyone had to run away...

- It is not the case in Berlin nowadays- ...

SPACE I

in the romantic- platonic lecture...

They love each other but the space between is insurmountable..

hey! don't dream to much! I am working on the non-romantic version too :P

SECRET

She didn't thought that the girl she had the confidence with, was like the newspaper, in this little village.

Be careful next time!

Dietrich Fischer-Diskau

My Homage,
to this great berliner Singer, who left us on Friday,  18 May.
I tried to draw this portrait from a b&w Photo..
Many vinyls I have been collecting from his Lieder, specially those from Schubert  with Gerald Moore playing piano.. His voice accompanied me while I worked in the University projects, closed at home, and turned this lonely times beautiful. So thank you for your great art and inspiration!

I leave you two Lieder from Schumann und Schubert.

Faded II

I drew this illustration from the doodle below.
Sometimes I have the feeling doodles are more expresive than final drawings..

The sun does not reach the bottom of the sea.. there, these faded creatures had to be adapted and survy.. though they envy the colorful fishes from the top.

Faded I

In the deep of the ocean there are faded creatures like these..
the only point of light you can find are their eyes.
brrr

SIGHT

sometimes you know what is going on,
 without need of any word!
