They are tempera -gouache- paintings with some china ink details. I was inspired, as very often, in botanicals and in the decorative arts from the 50's (I also call them Matisse Inspiration, specially as reference to his last works)

Caretos in the Wall

"FINE-ROOMS" studio developed the decoration concept for this Hotel in Hamburg.
My paintings are already hanging on the wall and I like it!

I love the cosy and elegant atmosphere, the warmth of the wood and colors they chose and the vintage air.

Caretos in progress...

Here some pics of my work in progress, last July.

And here a brief text about this serie "Caretos". It is in german, may be you understand? 

Thanks to the diligent, dear Gregor, who wrote those lines about my work:

"Die Caretos entstanden aus dem beiläufigen Zeichnen und dem Anmischen von Farben währen des Telefonierens. Irgendwann verdichteten sich die Skizzen zu Bildern und es entstanden wilde Schauspiele menschlicher Gemütszustände mit einem Hang ins Absurde und Skurrile, irgendwo unter Wasser oder im Scheinwerferlicht einer Bühne. Die zappelnden und gedrängten Menschen küssen, streiten, grinsen, staunen, starren, lachen oder bangen. So entstanden aufblitzende Momenteindrücke entgleitender Mienen, ein buntes Treiben menschlicher Grimassen – auf spanisch: Caretos."

Estoy participando en muchos concursos aquí:
12designer
para aquellos que les interese...
La idea es buena, ya que te pones las pilas rápido, viendo otras cosas, la versatilidad de clientes-gustos-proyectos, etc.
Hmm  pero es una locura!

Lo tomo más como ejercicio: cumplir los timing, depuración y conceptualización de las ideas- cosa que se me da bastante mal- puesta al día con el Illustrator  -que me gusta cienmil veces menos que el freehand-...
Und so weiter!
 aunque espero que también suene la flauta en algún proyecto! - aunque me da a mí que se une además de la calidad, la chiripa, la subjetividad, y el tongo como en concurso que se precie  .. muchos factores, uf!  sí muchos.
