Floral Tattoo

I was busy since months ago developing a custom Tattoo with four botanicals for Tina.
Here are the final drawings with pencil and watercolours.
the most close to final drawing
and the final drawing
It is the first time I am working on a drawing for a tattoo, that's also why I was being so cautious:
Believing that a tattoo may last "forever" in the skin, makes try to reach the perfect design :)

first sketches
Ink sketches, trying to make the comopsition thinner.
Here are some of the many sketches with pencil and ink. Do you recognize these flowers? :)

Label for IMBUE - American Vermouth

A couple of months ago I started a comissioned work for IMBUE Cellars based in Oregon (USA).
They wanted two labels for the dry and the sweet Vermouth bottles. This was a very special project and I enjoyed it a lot as they wanted absolutly the whole label, front and back, illustration and text, hand drawing & hand writting... as a hand-crafted product that they offer.
So here is my work, made full of love too!  ;)
Do you recognize the plants in the drawings? there is Chamomile, Juniper, Vanilla, Wormwood, Oranges, Grapes leaves...fully fresh and aromatic! I am looking forward to taste it too, now that Summer is coming!!

And here some previous sketches while developing the design:

Greeting Cards

Catilustre for SENDMOMENTS.
I started working with this Agency which make customizable cards for greeting, birthdays, weddings, etc.
And I am really looking forward to have the first paper samples on my hands! These are some of the illustrations and lettering I did for them. I hope you like them! So if you want to personalize your Event, go there and have a look at all their beautiful options!

Bonbons Box

for Kruegerol.
They make design competitions regulary for their packaging.
Those were my doodles and proposals.
It never, or seldom, comes to me a lonely clear idea...normally they arrive in hordes like a storm and when I start to develop them, even new ways appear. I am not good in choosing so I try to develop them all, or a couple of them. Then I can clearly see what better is.

Shawl design

I was doodling a lot, thinking on which elements were the most necessary to appear and express the essence of this spanish brand that produces creams and beauty cosmetics, working with organic ingredients from mediterranean origin and taking care of the nature.

The Sea, specifically mediterranean sea, its colors and light, its vegetation and shellfish life... I wanted to involve all this in one. But the first results after the scheme were too confusing with these many element, so at last, I believed the "less is more"that anyone knows, and I kept into one same motif, from each corner, confluencying at the center.
You can see them at the top of this post.
When it is printed and I have a photo, I will show you!

SOUTH TOWN II

this one a variation from the composition below.
For the colour I was inspired by the beautiful decoration of greek amphoras, like these wonderful ones:

SOUTH TOWN I

That is how I called this design I made for a carpet competition.
This was also the one they chose!

"Memories"

I am starting a new totally different production of drawings, where all is about composition: geometry and balance.
Why? Because I need it. I think it can give me calm, help me to be more reflexive, better organized and more disciplined. In a few months I will tell you if that is working :)

Hope you like them though!
