"The Big Draw Berlin"

Yes, now in Berlin arrives "THE BIG DRAW BERLIN", this weekend (from 12 to 14 October)

Salom Beaury and I are giving a workshop " Stadträume" (city spaces),  Sunday 14 from 11.00 to 15.00 h, at Gemaldegalerie in Matthäkirche Platz (near Postdamer Platz).

If you are in Berlin, dont hesitate, take your pencils and come, we hope to see you all there!

This is an illustration that I drew years ago for a competition in France,
with the motto  "Livres en Liberté". I hope you like it!

Late summer burst

It is not a bunch of grapes, no more.

It is not a delicate pineapple, which likes cold.

But a lemonade colored flower, like a paper lamp,

growing up along the path.

You guess what is it? It is hop! berliner hop.

It is bursting right now, decorating the green walls, and announcing berliner beer.

from Lange Nacht der Illustration, last Friday, in our Atelier. 
Dan (link) and I (Catalina) were hunging lots of nice drawings in the walls and lots of nice people came to visit us in the Lübbenerstrasse!

My Homage,
to this great berliner Singer, who left us on Friday,  18 May.
I tried to draw this portrait from a b&w Photo..
Many vinyls I have been collecting from his Lieder, specially those from Schubert  with Gerald Moore playing piano.. His voice accompanied me while I worked in the University projects, closed at home, and turned this lonely times beautiful. So thank you for your great art and inspiration!

Faded II

I drew this illustration from the doodle below.
Sometimes I have the feeling doodles are more expresive than final drawings..

The sun does not reach the bottom of the sea.. there, these faded creatures had to be adapted and survy.. though they envy the colorful fishes from the top.

the only point of light you can find are their eyes.
